Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy

How To Return An Item

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. Your must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

  1.  Please email info@wisconsinrivermeats.com to request a refund
  2. Mail your returned item to:

  3.  Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return

Exchanges

We prefer to exchange product or issue store credit and re-ship for returns before refunding money. We back our products and if there is a product problem we like to fix it with product.

**NOTE*** When checking out with paypal and lets say you are in a hurry you might approve the payment before “editing” where you want it shipped. If this happens paypal makes the ship to address the account holders default address. Before approving the paypal purchase you can go in and edit the ship to address in your paypal account to have the package sent to where you want. If your order is approved and accidentally shipped to the wrong address just email or call (before we ship the order) and we will make sure your order goes to the proper ship to address.

***NOTE*** With today’s credit card fraud problems abundant, certain protections must be allowed for all web site transactions. If your credit card billing address is different than your shipping address you need to put your credit card billing address under billing and then whatever shipping address you want. The credit card processors need to verify the credit card billing address in order to approve the transaction.

Credit Card Charges

Your credit card will be charged when you place your order. If we are not able to fulfill your order for any reason your credit card will be refunded.

Shipping Policy

Turnaround

All orders are packaged and shipped as soon as possible. Most turn-around times for shipping are the next day with exceptions for busy holiday seasons and out of stock re-filling. You will receive an email when the shipping label is created meaning it will ship that day or the next morning.

Carriers

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

USPS

If your postal shipping address or the postal shipping address you are shipping to has a PO Box, then you must enter that in the ship to information or the Post Office will not deliver the package(s).

We can ship UPS on request only as some destinations have USPS Postal access problems.

Order Tracking

All packages shipped have full tracking availability. Some orders will have more than one shipping package. Each package will have an individual tracking number emailed to whatever email address is provided when checking out. The Post Office has an “estimated delivery time” with their tracking numbers. This is usually accurate after the package has actually got to a shipping distribution center not when it first goes to the local post offie. Please check your tracking as packages are updated on status frequently.

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is flat rate price based. The price based shipping is locate don each web page at the top of the screen and also on the left side of the screen (you may have to scroll down a bit) Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Back Orders

We very rarely have back orders. Usually we ship the whole order at once. If an item does go on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy SERIOUSLY and will take all measures to protect your personal information.

What Information Do We Collect?

We only collect information that we need that is related to your order. This includes your:
    Billing Address
    Shipping Address

In addition we also collect information on your IP address, browser type, and Refer URL data. We use this data to prevent hacking attempts, help us know what web browsers people are using, and find out where our visitors are coming from so that we can improve our marketing.

Your information is only used to fill your order. We do not sell or redistribute your information to ANYONE.

Security and Storage

Only your order data billing, shipping, and order contents data is stored on our server. This information is encrypted using a Secure Sockets Layer before it is transmitted over a web server. We do not store your Credit Card data.

Cookies and Browser Information

Cookies are small files that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you on your next visit or store your shopping cart contents. We use them only to track this information.
