Amish Butter

Details 

Homemade Wisconsin Amish Butter Rolls.  This rich, creamy butter is made from milk from Amish farm families by the Alcam Creamery in Richland County.  The old fashioned technique produces results that are unique in characteristic and taste.  A robust flavor, great for using in any application, this all natural, and no preservatives butter has only two ingredients; pasteurized cream and salt.  This butter holds great in the refrigerator and even better in the freezer.  We use Amish butter in all our cooking, dessert baking and catering here at Wisconsin River Meats and we all use it at home as well.  In fact, we will personally guarantee that if you have never tried Amish Butter for cooking, sautéing, just spreading or as a finishing butter, you will rave to family and friends and be hooked.  Just like we are!!

Original Hickory Smoked Country Sliced Bacon.  Bacon’s not for just breakfast anymore!  Something special is sizzling here folks.  Wisconsin River Meats Bacon is produced from local all natural hogs.  Our slabs are hand trimmed and home cured with our own maple sugar cure.  These lean slabs are then slow cooked over natural hickory.  This bacon is bursting with rich and hearty country flavor.  Medium sliced, Wisconsin River Meats Country Bacon is great to serve over warm biscuits or burgers.  Great for breakfast or to top off any meal.  Crumble in your favorite salad and use the drippings for your favorite flavored gravy.  What ever the situation, Bacon makes a good case.

Cheddar Cheese was first produced in England using a cheese making process where the curds are turned by hand to allow whey to drain away.  In the late 1800’s Cheddar was produced more in Wisconsin than any other cheese variety. Today Wisconsin is the leader in the United States for Cheddar Cheese production.Cheddar has a rich, nutty yet slightly sharp full flavor that becomes increasingly sharp with age.  Slice for sandwiches, great for snacks, soups, sauces and dishes.

Muenster Cheese

Historians believe that Muenster originated in Alsace, France from local Monks.  In Wisconsin, Muenster Cheese was one of the first semi-soft cheeses.  Mild when young, Muenster makes great slicing for sandwiches and dishes.  It also works well for grilled cheese and melts.
